Sinopsis

Unlike most dung beetles, Scarab is sociable, honest, and always ready to help others, but he is also lonely and unhappy. Though he’s been told that a dung beetle’s life is nothing more than the pursuit of food, and he is one of the best dung-ball rollers at the farm, he believes that dung beetles must have a higher purpose. In his attempt to discover it, first he is led astray by an older beetle and later by a honey bee. It’s only when he becomes friends with two houseflies that his life changes, even if he is not meant to discover the true higher purpose of all dung beetles.
